Welcome May's Guest Designer
Day 1

I am so excited to present May's Guest designer, Cathy Indelicato. Cathy is so talented! When she sent me her projects, the very first project I opened just blew me away! I had never seen this done before and I was so excited to see how well this image worked!

Cathy created this beautiful piece of home decor using a stamp from the stamp set "Simple Pleasures."

Look at how beautiful this is up close! I love how delicate Cathy's outline stitching is and how she used more than one color thread! This is such a creative use of rubber stamps. It totally changes the way I am looking at my entire collection. These can be such fun little projects for road trips this summer. I just love this!
Stop by tomorrow to see another fabulous project created by Cathy and don't forget to visit her blog for more creative inspiration.
Hugs,
Gina K.

Project details from Cathy:
Stitchery:
Stamps: GinaK – Simple Pleasures
Frame – Target
Paper: Provo Craft
Other: Ribbon – Offray, Charm – Oriental Trading Company, Sewing machine/thread, Muslin fabric, DMC floss
Ink – Gray (stamping image on fabric)
Note: My first craft project/hobby was embroidery, which I learned at a young age. As much as I love stamping/scrapbooking/papercrafting, I always fall back on sewing! I always thought this image would be perfect for stitching so I just had to give it a try!

I am a stitcher at heart also. This gives me a whole new avenue to enjoy my stamp collection. I've used stamps for "punch" embroidery but never thought of doing the embroidery stitches.

I love this. My grandmother embroiders all the time. She has a hard time finding stuff that she likes. I never thought that I could stamp her something to work in. AWESOME! Thanks for the great idea!!!
