Carole Burrage is not only known for her stamping talent but she's also well know for her fabulous sense of humor. I just about died laughing when I opened this particular project. When Carole asked if she could use Carolyn King's "Dr. Feelgood" stamp set, I said, "Sure!" That set is pretty cute and funny all on it's own. But I had no idea what Carole was going to do with this set!
Bwahhhhh! Too funny! (Carole actually thought I might not want to put this card up! LOL! Me? The girl who drew a toilet and a plunger. You can't scare me Carole! LOL!)

Dr. Love
"I knew when I saw Carolyn King’s “Dr. Feelgood” set that I had to use it in honor of my good friend, Cammie. Carolyn is one of my great stamping friends, and well, we love to give each other a hard time. And, as Carolyn knows, I love to use stamps in ways they might not have been originally intended… As I was looking at the good rubber doctor, I started humming that oldie-but-goodie by KISS, “Dr. Love.” When the muse knocks, you have to let her in, and this card was the result."
This card is just too adorable. I love Carole's "outside the box" approach and, if you ask me, I think she is an awesome artist! This card looks just like that guy!

I loved this card and I love Dr Feelgood. My husband calls himself a doctor. He always doles out the over the counter meds when someone is sick. He also goes by the name Dr Love. I about fell on the floor when I saw this. I gotta have this set.

I about fell on the floor when i saw this card! I had to go see what the original set looked like and OMG!!! What a crazy gal! Wish i had 1/2 the talent and vision to see something like that! Too much fun!

Hi Susan,
There was a band called Kiss and they dressed up all crazy like this- mius the Dr. outfit. They had a famous song called Dr. Love and when Carole saw the Dr. stamp, that song popped into her head. So she drew on a new head for the Dr. who looks just like one of the band members from that band. (You may be too young to remember that band but us "old folks" do. LOL! They were a crazy band.

What a hoot!! I will think of this card everytime I see the doctor set. (Not that the doctor is bad, he's a cutie) They are right you captured Gene Simmons perfectly and the song Dr Love is fitting. Carole you are a riot! Love it!

Oh my good golly! I am speechless - and trust me - that's no easy feat! I love it! I have this stampset and am having a ton of fun playing with it but you knock my sox off! AWESOME!

I was never a fan of KISS, but the satire approach Carole used is so funny. What an amazing imagination, I never would have come up with such a thing. I want to see more.

Not my favorite card, but then Kiss was not a band I favored either.......actually I thought they were pretty disgusting. Now the card is not disgusting just too good at reminding me of a group I don't like!

I love the way you think outside the box Carole. You truly have a gift to be able to look at a stamp and recreate into a totally different image than what it was intended for. I love your personality and sense of humor.
