September's Guest Designer- Day 3

I am so sad to see this end! Sharon has been so much fun to work with! Today's first project, (yup, there's more than one!) is another one of my favorites. Sharon created a simple, clean look using the "Heart Bouquet" stamp.

This card does double time! It could be for Valentine's Day but it also makes a really cool wedding card! I love the way she ran the "Love script" greeting along the bottom of the bouquet. Very creative placement and it really balances the card. Look at all that fantastic stitching! (I have got to get my sewing machine out!) Look at the way she sewed the ribbon on to the card! And the glitter rocks!
Supply list:
4.25" square card
Paper: Stampin' Up Textured White
Ink: Palette Noir, Stampin' Up Classic Real Red
Accessories: Ribbon, Sewing Machine & Black Thread, Prismacolor Pencils & Gamsol, Ranger Stardust Stickles
When you become a guest designer for Gina K. Designs, you are asked to provide three projects. Not Sharon! She just kept 'em comin'!
This next card is just stunning. Sharon used the "Flower Trio" stamp.

Every detail from the coloring to the scalloped edge of this gorgeous paper bring to mind a beautiful Victorian bedroom! I love the button in the center of the flower! Such a nice touch! And, I love the way the "for you script" stamp runs over the vase.
Supply list:
Paper: Basic grey Mellow, Stampin' Up Vanilla
Ink: Palette Burnt Umber, Stampin' Up Classic Celery & Cranberry
Accessories: Stampin' Up Moss Taffeta Ribbon, Rust Button, Linen Thread, Blender Pen. EK Success Corner Rounder, Crop-A-Dile, Prima Flowers.
This last card is a fun and bright card. Sharon captures the way I wanted this stamp to be used back when I drew it!

The "Gift Trio" stamp sits just so perfectly upon this warm and vibrant "quilt" that Sharon created with her paper piecing. With the addition of her stitching, wouldn't you be positive that you were looking at fabric? I love the ribbon details and the coloring is fun and bright. Sharon used the bonus stamp from the "Make a Wish" stamp set for the greeting. It's just the right size to work it into your main image. And do I detect a little glitter?
Supply list:
5.25" square card
I asked Sharon to write up a bio about herself so you could get to know her a little better. I've included it below.
I want to say thank you, Sharon, for always begin such a pleasure to work with, for having a giving heart and helping with the Make a Wish project and for always giving your readers, (which includes me, LOL,) such fabulous inspiration!
I hope you have enjoyed this month's guest designer spot and our new way of presenting these beautiful projects. Remember to send in your work for consideration. You on't have to be on a design team, have a blog or anything else other than a passion for stamping!
Hugs,
Gina K.

Sharon Harnist's Biography
"Hi, I'm Sharon Harnist or StamperSharon as I'm known around some online stamping communities! I'm a native of Texas, where I live with my husband of almost 14 years and two young daughters. I've been very fortunate to be able to stay home with my girls going on 3 years now and am loving it, after working for full-time outside our home for 24 years . . . I like my current job a LOT better!
I was involved in many different types of crafts all my life and started scrapbooking in 1996, then in early 2004 I was introduced to rubber stamping. I went to my friend's stamping workshop with the intent of purchasing an alphabet set to use in my scrapbooks. Needless to say, as what happens with so many of us, I was hooked on this art form! Shortly after, I became a demonstrator and instructor of rubber stamping, card making & scrapbooking in May of 2004.
I had a fabulous time serving on the Splitcoaststampers.com Design Team from January 2006 thru November 2006. Currently, I serve on design teams for two different rubber stamp manufacturers: Cornish Heritage Farms' Thomas Kinkade Stamps and My Favorite Things and am enjoying being a feature reporter for Craft Critique. I also enjoyed serving on the Design Team and creating samples for Gina's latest Stamps for a Cause venture, the Make A Wish Foundation -- Gina is an absolute sweetheart to work with!
