September's Guest Designer

Sharon- Day 1
Sharon Harnist is to stamping, what Rachael Ray is to food! She's fantastic at what she does and she's so adorable and sweet, you just want to get to know her!
I have had the pleasure on numerous occasions to cyber-chat with Sharon. She was one of the designers who responded yes without even thinking about it when I asked her to do a few cards for the Make A Wish Foundation stamp set. She heard the word "help" and she said, "Yes!... Now, what am I doing?" LOL!
I have to show you this first project right away because I am so excited about it! In fact, I want to make 60 of them and hang them all over my tree!

Isn't that fantastic! That is so cute! I haven't made any ornaments yet with any of the Gina K. Designs Holiday stamps but now I know what I'm making at some of our holiday classes!
Sharon used one of the Basic Grey Holiday chipboard shapes as her base and covered it in Stampin' Up's Dashing Designer paper. Then she added stickles glitter glue. The stamp she used is our "Dasher, Dancer and Prancer."
They fit so well in the center of that ornament! Don't you think that these would make such sweet gifts for your co-workers and others where you just want to give a little something from the heart?
Supply List:

I get so many emails wanting to know more about our guest designer's projects. We've decided that we are revamping our guest designer spot by giving you bits and pieces over a few days time. And, we will be providing the supply list for the projects you see by these fabulously talented artists so you can recreate them at home.
Coming tomorrow on day 2- another fabulous project by Sharon and a little more about the artist herself!
Until tomorrow...*squeal!*
Hugs,
Gina K.

Wow that is just wonderful!! I love projects like this one. Again and again I ask (hehe) what did you atta ch the patterned paper with to the chipboard? And did you paint over the center with acrylic paint to get an all white background? before stamping? What a great ornament!!

Etha,
This particular snowflake chipboard was self-adhesive, so you just peel off the paper backing to reveal the adhesive and slap your pre-cut paper on -- super easy!
The center reindeer piece was stamped onto cardstock, colored, and then adhered with glue stick to chipboard.
I hope that helps!
